Newsflash
We are now currently taking applications for the balanced man scholarship for the Fall Semester of 2008. The link on the side menu will give you access to the form that will send us the application. If anybody has sent in an application within the past few months and has never received any response back, we do apologize. We were having technical problems with the link, so we would please ask you to resubmit your application as it would be greatly appreciated. If there are any questions regarding the scholarship itself, Sigma Phi Epsilon, or Sac State as a whole, please feel free to contact Cliff, Creston, or myself (Daniel), and we will be more than happy to send you a response, or schedule a meeting.

Sigma Phi Epsilon Cal Theta chapter at California State University, Sacramento, is a Balanced Man chapter. We hold the highest principles of a sound mind and sound body. Here at Cal Theta we strive to achieve highest grade point averages on campus. Our minimum requirement is a 2.6 GPA for each semester. We hold study sessions three times a week, ask speakers from around the city to come to meeting and discuss job success, and require all members turn in two grade checks per semester. Along with sound mind we do sound body events. We participate in Greek Week, all intramural sports, and hold other sound body events. We also play football with other greeks, and from time to time will hold unique event. SigEp not only aspires to become better leaders on campus, but we aspire become leaders off campus as well. May brothers work at the state capital, are in university ASI, and some members are serving in the National Guard. Sigma Phi Epsilon is the only fraternity on our campus who requires high GPAs, and we have no pledge system. We instead follow a membership devlopment program which helps us build balanced leaders, and also to have fun while doing it. With our sound mind/body programs you will learn to become a balanced man, a world leader, and want to aspire to be the best man you can be.

Sincerely,

Joel Saslaw
